Love, Art, Community
One of our greatest joys as a crew is our community engagement and the opportunities to partner with local artists. As an AAPI-centered film taking place in Hawaii, it was important to us to engage with our neighbors.
Tyson Akione was born and raised in Hawaii and is a multi-disciplinary artist. His portfolio boasts an array of artwork in the form of prints, stickers, t-shirts, and more. His store is basically as homegrown as it can be - just how we like it! One of the many gifts we have received from Tyson is our My Beau, Bo logo and graphic designs in our store. Thanks to his generosity, talent, and passion for our message and mission, we can now offer a limited stock of his products through out site.
There is an earnest nature to shops like these and we are also pleased to announce:
Tunda Art will have a booth at Gangway Gallery for the Zines and Things event on October 18th from 2PM to 6PM in Kaka'ako.
Let’s keep lifting up our community of amazing artists.
Have a blessed day!
